As announced previously, Franklin Southampton Economic Development Inc. will host the 3rd Annual Partners in Progress event at the Paul D. Camp Workforce Development Center on Wednesday, April 27, at 8 a.m. Barry DuVal, Virginia Chamber of Commerce President and CEO, will be the event’s keynote speaker.

DuVal was named president and CEO of the Virginia Chamber of Commerce on April 28, 2010. Under his leadership, the Chamber has become Virginia’s largest business advocacy group, growing from 847 members in 2010 to more than 23,500 members today.

We hope you will join us for this event to also hear from local city and county officials about the current and future plans for our area. Cost to attend is $10 per person (which includes a catered breakfast from Fred’s Restaurant).
