NEWSOMS—Patricia Cain O’Bryant, 51, passed away Monday, March 28, 2016 after a battle with cancer. She was born in Portsmouth to the late Rodney and Grace Cain on March 28, 1965. She was a member of Kingdom Life Ministries- Franklin.

She was predeceased by sisters Juliann Prasky and Terry Lee Cain.

She is survived by her former husband, Keith O’Bryant; three sons, Kyle, Travis, and Evan O’Bryant; and two sisters, Jacqueline Lutz and Ann Coley.

She was a dedicated mother, sister, friend, aunt, and cousin to her large family and her friends. She was especially known for the love and dedication she showed her youngest son, Evan, 8.

She left a positive mark on anyone who knew her well. She was very loved and will be sorely missed.

A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, April 1 at Kingdom Life Ministries in Franklin, VA by Pastor Matt Kidd. A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, April 2 at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens in Suffolk, VA. Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel is handling arrangements.
