FRANKLIN—Our beloved Sendy Lee Lashley entered into eternal rest on Tuesday morning March 22, 2016.

Sendy was a loving daughter, wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend. In 1987, Sendy graduated from Franklin High School. Sendy accepted Christ at an early age and was a faithful member of New Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church where she served as a deaconess and a member of the hospitality committee.

Sendy’s memory will live forever in the hearts of: her loving devoted husband, Lavon Lashely, Sr.; children Latoya Marie Lashley, Lavon Lashley, Jr., and Diamond Maxwell; granddaughter Kalani Maxwell; aunts Emily Parham, Jennie Parham, Emily Reid and Virginia Jenkins; uncles Rev. Melton “Mike” Urquhart (Inez), Nelson Urquhart and Lee Urquhart; In-Laws affectionately called “Mom and Dad”, Jessie Lee and Aubrey “Buddy” Lashley; Brother-In-Law, Reginald Lashley (Marvate); Sister-in-law Torrie Lashely (Darrell Dennis); nieces and nephews Demerius Lashley, Demara Lashley, Nylah Dennis, Demerius Lashley, Jr. “D.J”; Devoted “sisters” Virginia “V” Tyson and Evonne “Cookie” Holiday; a dedicated friend to Sandy and Lavon and godmother to Sendy’s childrens, Ann Holiday and a host of other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services will be conducted 3 p.m. Saturday March 26, 2016 at New Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Engram Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
