FRANKLIN
Shannon Victoria O’Berry and John Mitchell Rich were married on Saturday, September 26, 2015, at half past five o’clock in the afternoon in the courtyard of the Islander Inn & Suites in Emerald Isle, NC.

The Reverend Jim Tillman of Swansboro, NC officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Holloman O’Berry of Franklin. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Johnnie Perry Lane Cook and the late Mr. and Mrs. James Franklin O’Berry, all of Newsoms.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lester Mallard of Durham, NC and Mrs. Sarah Britt Rich and the late Mr. John Henry Rich, Jr. of Emerald Isle, NC. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Benny Honeycutt and the late Mr. and Mrs. John Henry Rich and, all of Durham, NC.

The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents. The bride’s sister, Holly Michelle O’Berry of Raleigh, NC, served as the maid of honor.

The groom’s best friend, Christopher Rand McGhee of Raleigh, NC served as best man. Max Jonah Ford of Durham, NC, the groom’s nephew served as ring bearer.

Wedding and reception music was provided by DJ Don Rogers of Franklin. Photography was provided by Amore Studios of Raleigh, NC.

The bride is a graduate of Meredith College and works in Raleigh, NC as a Human Resources Generalist for the College Foundation, Inc. The groom is a graduate of the University of Georgia and works in Raleigh, NC as a Technical Advisor for AllBackOffice Consulting, LLC.

Since returning from their honeymoon in St. Lucia the couple resides in Raleigh, NC.
