Council to hear SPSA presentation

At the upcoming Franklin City Council Meeting, a presentation on the Southeastern Service Authority will be heard. Regular council business is also on the agenda.

Franklin City Attorney Taylor Williams who serves on the SPSA Board, will present on the SPSA Post 2018 Use and Support Agreement.

The presentation will include the intent, purpose and process of the agreement; term and termination; SPSA obligations; waste-related provisions; member locality obligations; dispute resolution; special termination provision; and the strategic operating plan.

Although there will not be a public hearing after Williams is done presenting, there will be time for public comment.

The public is encouraged to come listen to the presentation and speak up during the public comment time with questions, comments and concerns.

The meeting will be on Monday night at 7 p.m., in the City Hall Council Chambers, 207 West Second Avenue, Franklin.
