Superintendent to have state of the schools address and excellence expo

It has been announced that Franklin City Public Schools will have a state of the schools address and excellence expo on Wednesday, March 23, from 6 to 7:30 pm. Superintendent Dr. Willie Bell will have address all those in attendance on the state of the school division.

Community stakeholders, parents, students and staff will be present at the event. After Bell gives the address, there will be an excellence expo featuring round-table sessions facilitated by students and staff from all three schools.

“The round-table expos will highlight and show case many of the initiatives and learning activities taking place in our schools,” Bell said. “Participants will have an opportunity to rotate to several of the round-table expos during the event.”

The address and excellence expo will take place at the PDCCC Regional Workforce Center, 100 North College Drive, Franklin 23851.“

The public is invited to attend and learn more about the instructional, operational and technological initiatives in our school division,” Bell added.
