WINDSOR
The Windsor Town Council will hold its regularly scheduled monthly meeting at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 8, and among the topics on the docket is the first review of the town code.

“It’s been something we’ve been looking at for quite some time,” town manager Michael Stallings said. “We just updated our zoning and land ordinance, and this is the next step. We just want to make sure that everything in there is still relevant and enforceable and not outdated.”

Stallings said that the process is expected to take about one year to complete.

“We’ve updated parts of the code quite frequently, though I can’t recall a holistic look in my 10 years [on the job].”

Other issues on the agenda include a “fairly routine” Fourth of July fireworks permit discussion, a look at the town’s firearm ordinance and a resolution honoring the 50th reunion of the Georgie D. Tyler Middle School Class of 1966.
