Indian Branch Lane to close for bridge repairs

The Virginia Department of Transportation will close Route 634 (Indian Branch Lane) for superstructure repairs beginning on Monday, Feb. 22, at 8 a.m. The closure will last for two weeks, and is scheduled for completion by Friday, March 4.

A 5 1/2-mile detour will be in place, directing eastbound traffic to turn left onto Cabin Point Road (Route 606) and travel south approximately two miles. Turn left onto Plank Road (Route 35) and travel southeast approximately one half mile to Cabin Point Road. Turn left onto Wakefield Road (Route 628) and travel north approximately three miles to get back onto Indian Branch Lane.

Those traveling westbound will be directed to take the inverse path.
