FRANKLIN — Mable D. Everett of Fairview Drive departed this life on Jan. 6, 2016, while a patient in East Pavilion Nursing Home.

The Southampton County native was born on May 4, 1922, to the late Samuel and Isabel Mayfield Everett.

Her memory will be cherished by her brother, Floyd Everett (Thelma); and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

The celebration of life will be at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 13, in Galilee Baptist Church, 15688 Old Branchville Road, Branchville, Virginia, with the pastor, the Rev. Willie L. Diggs, delivering the message of comfort. The committal and benediction will be in the church cemetery.

A traditional service with dignity will be conducted by Wm. M. Johnson & Sons Funeral Home Inc., 224 S. Main St., Franklin.
