CARRSVILLE — Jacquelyn Marsh Cobb, 82, passed away on Jan. 8, 2016, surrounded by the loving members of her family.
She was born in Rocky Mount, North Carolina, a daughter of the late Jack and Dorothy Marsh. She was predeceased by her husband of 64 years, James Q. Cobb; and siblings, Doris Wescott, Bill Marsh and Anne Lois Richards.
She was a member of Church of Christ in Portsmouth, Virginia, and attended Colosse Baptist Church in Windsor, Virginia.
Jacquelyn is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Deborah A. Cobb and Sandra B. and Todd Rose; son and daughter-in-law, James Michael Cobb and Cindy Lee Cobb; grandchildren and their spouses, Melissa B. Pierce (Alan), Jason Bailey, Joshua Kyle Cobb, Mason Lee Cobb, Kristina Canfield (Brandon), Kendall Irving (Seth); great-grandchildren, Carson and Kayden Pierce and Scarlett Canfield; sister, Evelyn Marsh Abrams; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friend and caregiver, Jennifer Pitts.
The graveside service will be on Wednesday, Jan. 13, at 11 a.m., in Colosse Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Tim Webb officiating.
Friends may join the family for a visitation on Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. in Parr Funeral Home & Crematory, Suffolk.
