VIRGINIA BEACH — Alonza Bland “Blood” Jarrett, 64, passed away on Dec. 16, 2015, in Virginia Beach surrounded by his family.

He was a member of the ILA Local 1248 in Norfolk, Virginia.
He was born on June 27, 1951, to the late Alma and Otha Lee Jarrett Sr.;
He is survived by four children, Shulette L. Ricks, Angela D. Wilkins, Christopher A. Spence (Latisha) and Viola L. Evans-Bruce (Jermaine); a devoted brother, Otha Lee Jarrett Jr.; a sister; Yvonne Jarrett-Cooper; and a host of other relatives and friends.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 21, in New Bethel Baptist Church, 18295 Deloatche Ave., Boykins.
Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. on Sunday in Beach Funeral and Cremation Services, 4456 Bonney Road, Virginia Beach.
