CARRSVILLE — Ms. Essie T. Daughtrey, 89, entered into eternal rest on Dec. 6, 2015.

Viewing is on Saturday from noon to 1 p.m. in Pulaski Baptist Church, Carrsville. The celebration of life service will begin at 1 p.m. Interment will be in Picott’s Cemetery in Carrsville.

She leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Anne T. Thornton of Norfolk, Virginia, and Mary T.(Florine) Blowe of Hillside, New Jersey; three grandsons, Joseph Thornton Jr. of North Hollywood, California; Reginald Thornton of Forestville, Maryland; and Harrison H. Blowe Jr. of Hillside; a caring daughter, Eunice Daniels of Virginia Beach; a unique granddaughter, Tracy Mack of Merrillville Indiana; two sister-in-laws, Freddie Adkins of Suffolk, and Marin Sprull of Carrsville; a god great-granddaughter, Madison Maddrey; and a host of nieces, nephew, cousins and friends.
