FRANKLIN — Lessie Tillery Edwards, 92, passed away on Oct. 13, 2015.

Mrs. Edwards was born in Bertie County, North Carolina, and was a daughter of the late Linwood David Tillery and Lessie Taylor Tillery. She was the widow of Emerson Rudolph Edwards, and was predeceased by her brothers, Cecil, Henry, Julian and Hubert; and her sisters, Marie Hancock, Bea Halsey, Beverly Johnson, Kitty Daughtrey and Elleise Hancock.

She was a member of Sedley Baptist Church, and had been a volunteer at the East Pavilion for 28 years.

Survivors include two daughters, Patricia McGuire (Joe) and Cilda Edwards; two grandchildren, Daniel McGuire (Denise) and Melissa McGuire Vaughan (Keith); and two great-grandchildren, Kelly Ann Vaughan and Brandon Vaughan.

The graveside funeral will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 15, in Rosemont Cemetery, Sedley with the Rev. James Foreman officiating.

The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. today, Oct. 14, in Wright Funeral Home, and suggests that memorial donations be made to the Hunterdale Fire Dept. or Sedley Baptist Church. www.wrightfuneralhome.org.
