FRANKLIN
On Sept. 27, the Three Rivers Bass Club had an awards ceremony and presented the team of Billy Daniels and Brent Boney with First-Place Anglers of the Year. The team earned the most points during the bass fishing season.

Kevin Gunn won the Second-Place Angler of the Year Award, and John Edwards Jr. took third place Angler of the Year.

Billy Daniels won “The Earl Gunn Big Bass Award” for weighing in a 9.05 pound bass caught on April 4. Daniels was presented his trophy by Susan Gunn, the wife of Earl Gunn.

“This is a special award,” said Doug Williams, “honoring the memory of a longtime member and friend, Earl Gunn.”

Each winner received a trophy made by Vic’s Signs and Engravings of Franklin. All members who fished in the Classic Bass Tournament received a picture certificate with a summary of their fishing season.
