BOYKINS — Melvin Edgar Mann, 87, passed away peacefully on Oct. 04, 2015, following a short illness.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Sylvia Davis Mann.

Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Diane M. Francis of Capron, Virginia; two sons, Melvin E. Mann Jr. of Richmond, Virginia, and J. Michael Mann of Boykins; five grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, Oct. 6, from 6-8 p.m. at Wright Funeral Home in Boykins. The graveside service will be conducted on Wednesday, Oct. 7, at 11 a.m. in Severn, North Carolina Cemetery with the Rev. Mark Corbett officiating.

Family will receive friends at the family home following interment.
