FRANKLIN — Maline Langston King, 94, of The East Pavilion, died there on Wednesday, July 29, 2015.

A retired secretary, she was for many years a member of Ahoskie United Methodist Church, and since moving to Franklin several years ago had faithfully attended High Street United Methodist Church.

Surviving are her son, Winston P. King of Powell’s Point, North Carolina; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; her Village at Woods Edge and East Pavilion families; and several nieces, nephews and extended family members.

The graveside memorial service will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 3, at the King Family Plot in Cool Spring Baptist Church Cemetery, Eure, North Carolina.

Miller Funeral Home, 304 Main St., Gatesville, North Carolina, is assisting the family with arrangements.
