Dail’s Home Center is grateful for loyal customers

Dail’s Home Center, a True Value store, is a family owned business that really appreciates their loyal customers.

The business was purchased in 1989 and Albert Dail is the current owner.

Store Manager Steve Dail said, “Well first off I owe God’s guidance to our success. But I would also like to say that we wouldn’t be here without all of our loyal customers. We just really want to thank them for always coming back to us.

“We’ve had to evolve the business a lot through the years,” Dail continued. “As the years went on, we had to change with what the customers wanted.”

Dail went on to say that they are focusing a lot on sales and repairs. He said that the three biggest areas of customer sales are the building supplies, lawn and garden and sporting goods.

They sell all building materials. Customers can find materials that can start a project all the way until they finish a project at Dail’s.

“We also sell a lot of power equipment,” Dail stated.

He said that when the Mill shut down they lost a lot of customers, but that business has finally leveled back out and they are finally back on the right track.

According to Dail, the city is trying to get more industry in the area and that has really helped business for them. He hopes that this will bring new customers.

There are 28 employees working at the store as of right now. Dail said that they always hire college students and they have all gone back to school now, but they are really close to full employment.

“I have really loyal employees too. A lot of them have been with my family from the beginning. They’ve always been here for me and I want to thank them for that,” Dail continued. “They are the reason we have so many loyal customers.”
