SOUTHAMPTON COUNTY BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Notice is hereby given pursuant to Section 15.2-2309 of the Code of Virginia, 1950 as amended, that the Southampton County Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a public hearing on Monday, September 21, 2015 at 7:30PM in the Board Room of the Southampton County Office Center at 26022 Administration Center Drive in Courtland, Virginia, to consider the following:

1. Application from James G. Currier, owner, for a 16-dog kennel. The property is located at 26354 Mary Hunt Road, Newsoms, VA, and is known as Tax Parcel 115-23A. The property is located approximately 7,600’ northwest of the intersection of Mary Hunt Road (SR 683) and Monroe Road (SR 684). The property is in the Newsom Voting and Magisterial Districts.

Any persons desiring to speak in favor of or in opposition to the above-referenced application are encouraged to appear and be heard at the aforementioned time and place.
