AHOSKIE, N.C. — Linda Lee Conner, 66, died peacefully at her home on Monday, Sept. 7, 2015, following a battle with cancer.

She was born on March 20, 1949, to the late William and Ruby Lee.

Linda worked as a supervisor for Perdue for 35 years. Mrs. Conner enjoyed the outdoors working in her yard and garden. She adored her grandson and loved spending time with him.

She was preceded in death by mother, Ruby Page Lee; father, William Marshall Lee Sr.; sister, Wilma Lee; and brothers, Walter, Wiley, and Archie Lee.

Linda is survived by her husband, Lloyd Wayne Conner; son, Christopher Brian Conner, and his wife, Stephanie, and their son, Liam Blake Conner, all of Murfreesboro, North Carolina; three sisters, Agnes Victoria Bryant of Clyde, Texas; Ruby Mae Wilson of Red Oak, Texas; and Gladys Lee Shaver of Conway, North Carolina; two brothers, William Marshall Lee Jr., and his wife, Nancy, of Madison, Texas; and Robert Arthur Lee and his wife, Donna, of El Campo, Texas.

Memorial services will be on Saturday, Sept. 12, at 3 p.m. at the Meherrin Baptist Church in Murfreesboro, with the Rev. Joshua Parsons officiating.
