FRANKLIN — Maline Langston King, 94, of the East Pavilion, died on Wednesday, July 29, 2015.

A retired secretary, she was for many years a member of Ahoskie United Methodist Church, and since moving to Franklin several years ago, she had faithfully attended High Street United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her son, Winston P. King of Powells Point, North Carolina; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and extended family members.

The graveside memorial service will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 3, at the King Family Plot in Cool Spring Baptist Church Cemetery, Eure, North Carolina.

Miller Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to one’s favorite charity.
