The Village rallying support for fight against Alzheimer’s

The Village at Woods Edge will host a fundraising event for the Alzheimer’s Association on Thursday, Sept. 17.

The Village extends an invitation to the Neighborhood Block Party from 5:30-8:30 p.m. to all supporters in the fight against Alzheimer’s disease. The party will be hosted at The Village Back Porch and Grille. Tickets will be $25 dollars and may be purchased at the Village or by calling 562-3100. Tickets are limited and are on a first-come, first-served basis.

Tickets to the Neighborhood Block Party include barbeque buffet and an array of side dishes and desserts catered by The Village Back Porch and Grille, specialty drinks and open bar, entertainment by “The One Way” band, fun and fellowship

All proceeds will be donated to The Alzheimer’s Association, a nonprofit organization dedicated to preventing, curing and living with Alzheimer’s disease. The Village at Woods Edge is dedicated to improving the lives of those suffering from Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia. Executive Director Rhonda Stewart has set a goal of $5,000 in proceeds from the Neighborhood Block Party sponsors and ticket sales.

The Village at Woods Edge is a nonprofit senior living community in Franklin, and offers a variety of living styles and levels of care including: Independent Cottage and Apartment Living, Assisted Living and recently constructed Memory Care.
