SOUTH HILL — Mrs. Martha Rowe Bryant Croft, 73, of South Hill and formerly of Courtland, passed away peacefully on Sept. 1, 2015.

She was a graduate of Longwood College, and was predeceased by her parents, Edna Eliza Bradshaw Bryant and George Leroy Bryant Sr.
Rowe is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Dr. Robert “Bob” Lewis Croft Sr.; four children, Robert “Robin” Lewis Croft Jr. (Cathy), Susan Elizabeth Croft Scott, Kipling “Kip” Bryan Croft and Martha Kelly Croft Bell (Kurt); six grandchildren; Carly Croft Liakos (Jon), Maggie Croft, Shannon Elizabeth Scott Barner (Dan), Olivia Rowe Bell, Samuel Lewis Bell and Jason Wyatt Bell; three brothers, Leroy Bryant (Texie) Thomas Bryant (Brenda) and Jerry Bryant (Beverly); special nieces and nephews and dear friends.
A celebration of her life will be on Friday, Sept. 4, at 2 p.m. in First Baptist Church, 410 N. Mecklenburg Ave., South Hill, VA 23970. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to First Baptist Church of South Hill or CMH Hospice, P.O. Box 90, South Hill, VA 23970.
