NEWPORT NEWS — Mrs. Joyce Holloway Overton, a native of Franklin, passed away on Aug. 17, 2015, while a patient in UNC Memorial Hospital, Chapel Hill, North Carolina.

The homegoing celebration will be on Saturday, Aug. 22, at 1 p.m. in Kingdom Community Church, 1538 Carrsville Highway, with Pastor Terrance Johnson delivering the eulogy. Burial will be in Southview Cemetery.
