FRANKLIN — Larry Wayne Hatfield, 61, passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2015.

He was a son of the late James E. Hatfield Jr. and Eunice Faison Hatfield.

He was a former employee of Nansemond Tractor, a former salesman for Lee Tractor in Courtland and a farmer. Larry was a member of Black Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Betty O. Hatfield; two daughters, Amber Hatfield and Lauren H. Byrum; two stepdaughters, Angie Jones and Debbie S. Carter; two granddaughters, Savannah and Haleigh Byrum; two step-granddaughters, Samantha Soto and Brittany Carter; and one step-great-grandson, Jayden; two brothers, J. Edward Hatfield, III (Pat) and Ernest L. Hatfield (Motoko); and many nieces and nephews.

The memorial service will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 1, in Black Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Greg Kitts officiating.
