William Gray Gurganus Jr.

ROBERSONVILLE, N.C. — William Gray Gurganus Jr., 63, of 3130 Vanderford Road, died on Friday, July 17, 2015, at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, North Carolina.
Mr. Gurganus was born in Martin County on Feb. 19, 1952, to the late William Gray and Annie Bass Gurganus. He was predeceased by his wife, Juanita Gurganus; one brother, Jerry M. Gurganus; and a sister, Betty G. Coker.
He worked as a sales representative for Pepsi.
Survivors include his son, William “Tommy” Gurganus, and daughter, Pamela Muir, both of Robersonville; special friend, Fannie Perry of Stokes, North Carolina; brothers, Edward Gurganus of Franklin, Virginia, and Harold D. Gurganus of Richmond, Virginia; and one grandchild, Tyler Muir.
The graveside service was on Monday, July 20, at 11 a.m. in Martin Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Rick Manning officiated the service.
The family received friends on Sunday from 6-7:30 p.m. in Walker Funeral Home, and from the home of Fannie Perry, 340 Bear Grass Road, Stokes.
