COURTLAND
The Isle of Wight Sheriff’s Office arrested Jennifer Turner of Franklin on Thursday evening without incident after an anonymous caller recognized her picture in The Tidewater News and relayed her location to the deputies.

Turner was wanted for obstruction of justice, assault on a family member, felony identity in North Carolina and failure to appear in court. When deputies attempted to apprehend Turner at her home last weekend, she snuck out the back door.

The 22-year-old is being held at Western Tidewater Regional Jail in Suffolk without bond as she awaits charges from multiple jurisdictions.
