Sheriff’s Office seeks wanted subjects

The Southampton County Sheriff’s Office is looking for two subjects at the top of their most wanted list.

Jennifer Turner, 22, of Mount Horeb Road, Franklin, is wanted for obstruction of justice, assault on a family member, felony identity theft in North Carolina and failure to appear in court. According to Major Gene H. Drewery, spokesman for the sheriff’s office, deputies attempted to apprehend Turner at her home this past weekend. She snuck out the back door when the deputies knocked.

Three of the charges against 5-foot, 150 pound Turner are not new, as she was released on bond and ordered to appear in court. She now faces the new charge for obstruction.

Myrick

Myrick

Quinton Myrick, 21, of Sedley Road, Sedley, is wanted for allegedly taking several items from a residence. He is charged with three counts of obtaining money by false pretenses and three counts of receiving stolen property. Myrick is 5-foot-9, 175 pounds.
