Who will step up and lead the way?

To the Editor:

Thank you, Governor Baliles, for the excellent explanation of the educational needs and how they can be accomplished in Virginia’s Rural Horseshoe.

I propose that this same philosophy be used to fortify the quality job market that is perceived to also be needed in Virginia’s Rural Horseshoe.

Those elected officials at the local, state and federal levels, along with those in neighboring states, should come together to assure that families can expect the quality of life in their respective localities to be the highest.

That can be accomplished by higher quality and quantity of education and jobs.

Locally, it would be a definite plus for those localities along Route 58, from one end to the other.

Question is: Who will step up to the plate and lead the way?

Thank you very much.
