To the Editor:

It was very interesting to read the biased column by Andrew Lind in “Lind Me Your Ear” concerning the selection of school board members.

Why would anyone criticize a parent of any child who wants to take an active part in his or her child’s education? I commend any parent, grandparent or citizen who volunteers their time to help with a child’s education. Instead of criticizing these candidates for seeking the school board seat they should be commended for pursuing these appointments.

I commend Mrs. Reynolds and Mrs. Bradley for serving but after 32 years, but I say enough is enough. Give others a chance.
