FRANKLIN—Retired Chief Warrant Officer 5 Joseph Benjamin Bush, United States Marine Corps, was born on July 7, 1938, in St. Mary’s County, Maryland, to Annie L. Bush-Barnes and James W. Young. On May 28, 2015, Joseph departed from this life to his eternal home to be with the Lord.

Joseph’s career path marked a life of service to his country and community. In addition to his parents, Joseph is predeceased by his brother, Thomas Bush.

Joseph leaves to cherish his memory a sister, Agnes Briscoe of Charles County, Maryland, and other family members, friends and associates.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, June 3, in Franklin Baptist Church with the Rev. Brent Kimlick and the Rev. Larry Davis officiating. Burial with military honors will be at 3 p.m. in the Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery, 5310 Milners Road, Suffolk.
