PUBLIC NOTICE

Notice is hereby given that the Board of Supervisors, at its meeting on Thursday, May 21, 2015, will hold a public hearing to consider the adoption of a resolution to allow for the commencement of condemnation actions, as necessary, the purposes of which is for the installation of a public trail commonly referred to as Nike Park Trail. Such trail is intended to enhance the quality of life of all citizens in Isle of Wight and to promote healthy living by providing a safe means by which to exercise and travel to Nike Park, a public park and recreation facility located on Nike Park Road.

A copy of the proposed resolution is on file in the Office of the County Attorney and the Office of the County Administrator, Isle of Wight Courthouse, Isle of Wight County, Virginia, and are available for public inspection. Any person desiring to be heard in favor of, in opposition to, or to express his views with respect to, the proposed resolution may appear before, and be heard by, the Board during the Public Hearing section of the meeting in the Robert C. Claud, Sr. Board Room, Isle of Wight County Courthouse, Isle of Wight, Virginia. The public meeting will commence at 6:00 p.m.
