ISLE OF WIGHT
The woman whose body was discovered on Friday in Isle of Wight County has been identified as Jean Marie Smith, 25. Her last known address was on Patriot Crescent in Hampton.

A gunshot wound was the cause of her death, according to a preliminary autopsy performed over the weekend by the Medical Examiner’s office in Norfolk.

The body was found in the Hatcher’s Lane area of the county.
