ISLE OF WIGHT
On Friday, the Isle of Wight County Sheriff’s Office received a call to respond to Hatcher’s Lane off of Courthouse Highway, where the body of a white female was discovered.

The department has released the following information in hopes of identifying the body. The victim is a white female, approximately 30 years age, 5’6” to 5’8” with dark shoulder-length hair.

She has a tattoo on her lower right leg, just above the ankle, of a phrase with flowers at each end. The phrase is believed to say “Wahine Ikaika,” which loosely translates to “Strong Woman” or “Woman Warrior” in Hawaiian. The flower is bluish gray in color and believed to be a Hawaiian Hibiscus, the state flower of Hawaii.
