Nancy C. Cooke

BOYKINS—Nancy Carol Cooke, 82, passed away peacefully on April 2, 2015, surrounded by her family.

She was born in Stone Bank, Wisconsin, and formerly of Waukesha, Wisconsin.

Mrs. Cooke was a daughter of the late Edward William and Ella Nielsen Zaeske, and was also predeceased by her husband, Harold Clarence Cooke, and a brother, Edward Charles Zaeske.

Mrs. Cooke was also a former resident of Mesa, Tempe and Apache Junction, Arizona, and was a retired bookkeeper.

She enjoyed cross-country travels with her late husband, Harry, and ladies’ night with her friends.

Left to cherish her memory are two sons, William John “Bill” Phipps of California and David Phipps and his wife, Laurie, of Newsoms; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She will be inurned in Prairie Home Cemetery, Waukesha.

Memorial donations may be made to the Boykins Rescue Squad.
