This morning, Metro Conference Officials moved the boys conference basketball tournament to Denbigh Baptist Christian School in Newport News for the games today, as well as the rest of the tournament. The Isle of Wight Academy Chargers will start the tournament playing the No. 1 seeded Atlantic Shores Christian School at 3:45 p.m.

The change in venue is due to unsafe traveling conditions around Portsmouth Christian School.

For the girls tournament, their game today and Saturday will still be at Atlantic Shores Christian School in Chesapeake. On Saturday evening, where they were previously scheduled to have their championship game at Portsmouth, it will now be moved Denbigh Baptist Christian School.

The Lady Chargers first game will be today at 6 p.m., against the StoneBridge Lady Cavaliers.

Should the No. 8 seed boys team win today, the semi-final would be on Saturday at 10 a.m., and the championship would be later that night at 7:30.

Should the No. 3 seed Lady Chargers pick up the win today, the semi-final would be on Saturday at 11:30 a.m. at Atlantic Shores, where they would either face the Lady Seahawks of Atlantic Shores or Alliance Christian Academy. The championship game, again, would move to Newport News, and the tipoff would be at 6 p.m. on Saturday.
