NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Franklin City School Board will conduct a
Public Hearing at its called school board meeting
that will be held on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at
6:00 p.m. in Council Chambers, Franklin City Hall,
207 West Second Avenue, Franklin, Virginia 23851,
pursuant to Virginia Code Sections 22.1-92 (B) and
15.2-2506, to receive the views of citizens within the
school division regarding the proposed budget of the
school division.
All interested citizens are encouraged to attend. Any
citizen living in the school division desiring to state
his views on the school division budget may appear
at the time and place referenced above and make his/
her comments to the School Board.
The public hearing is to be held at a public facility
to be accessible to persons with disabilities. Any
persons with questions concerning the accessibility
of the facility or those who have need for reasonable
accommodations should contact Mrs. Pam Kindred at
(757) 569-8111 ext. 5901. Persons needing interpreter
services for the deaf must notify Mrs. Kindred at least
seven (7) days in advance of the hearing.
