ISLE OF WIGHT
The Division of Motor Vehicles continues to be mobile, and is coming to Western Tidewater this month.

On Friday, Jan. 30, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., DMV 2 Go will be at the Isle of Wight County administrative parking lot, 17090 Monument Circle, Suite 113.

Through wireless service, the DMV will offer people a number of services including, but not limited to:

• Applying for or renewing an ID card for adults, children and veterans;

• Applying for or renewing your driver’s license, which can include taking road and knowledge tests as well as getting pictures taken;

• Getting a copy of your driving record;

• Obtaining vehicle titles, license plates, decals and transcripts;

• Buying hunting and fishing licenses and temporary boat registrations;

• Updating your address on your DMV record. You can also update your voter registration address and organ donor status;

• Requesting a Personal Identification Number to set up a myDMV account. This will allow you to receive DMV notices via email or phone, as well as conduct secure transactions on the DMV website;

• Obtaining an E-ZPass On-The-Go transponder;

• Searching for other state services through a wireless Virginia Internet portal.

DMV 2 Go is available to come to you. Visits are done Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and with a few exclusions, are open to the public. The site must have a parking lot large enough to accommodate both the DMV bus and customers.

To schedule a visit, send an email to the DMV 2 Go Tidewater staff at DMV2GOTidewater@dmv.virginia.gov.
