FRANKLIN
Kaye Weaver, owner of Horace Mann Insurance Company of Franklin, has graduated from the Franklin Business Incubator and moved her office to downtown Franklin.

Her new business address is 212 Middle St. Weaver started her company in 1998, working from an office in her home. In 2007, she had grown the business to the point that she felt she needed a presence within the downtown community, so she contacted Nancy Parrish, manager of the Franklin Business Incubator, and within a few months was accepted into the incubation program.

After seven years at the incubator, it was time once again for her to spread her wings and move to her own public office space. Weaver attributes the wonderful amenities at the Franklin Business Incubator, plus the networking and support systems there, for the main reasons that she was able to weather the storm of the economic downturn and still manage to maintain and grow her business.

Horace Mann is a company that was founded primarily to meet the insurance and investment needs of educators, but has grown to become a company that services the needs of the general public as well. Horace Mann offers a full line of insurance services, including annuities, auto, life, property, college savings plans, mutual funds, long-term care and disability.

The company’s overarching strategy and business purpose is to provide lifelong financial well-being for its clients and their families.
