James T. Worrell

SUFFOLK—James T. Worrell, 77, passed away peacefully on Dec, 25, 2014.

He was a son of the late Elmo and Kathleen Holland Worrell.

Mr. Worrell had been a supervisor for Art-Ray Corporation for 25 years. He was a member of Holland Baptist Church and an honorary member of the Holland Volunteer Fire Department, Holland Ruritan Club and Community Hunt Club. Mr. Worrell was well known for his barbeque and cooked for many events. He loved to hunt and fish.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 55 years, Clara Stradley Worrell; four daughters, Cathy W. Darden (Thomas), Pamela W. Horsley (Barry), Kimberly W. Outland (John), and Renee W. Wrenn (Chuck); one sister, Betty W. Billups (Earl); nine grandchildren, April Fowler, James T. Darden, Jamie H. Adams, Cal Horsley, Will Horsley, Brittany Outland, Leo Outland, Brad Wrenn and Brent Wrenn; nine great-grandchildren, Hayleigh Presson, Austin and Chase Fowler, Meleah and Isaac Adams, Acea and Brynlee Horsley, Craig Horsley and Bradlea Wrenn; faithful companion, Jay-Jay; many nieces and nephews; and many special friends in the Holland Community.

The memorial service will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 29, in Wright Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Bunn officiating. Burial will be private.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 28, in the funeral home, and suggests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society.
