FRANKLIN—Mrs. Eliza Johnson Cross of Thomas Street, passed away on Dec. 23, 2014, while resting peacefully in her home.

The Southampton County native was born on Nov. 10, 1927.

The homegoing service will be at 2 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 29, in First Baptist Church, 318 Hall St., Franklin, with Bishop Linwood Johnson III delivering the message of comfort; the Rev. D.S. Riddick is pastor. The committal and benediction will be in Diamond Grove Cemetery.

On the day of service, her remains will rest in the church for viewing by noon.

A traditional service with dignity will be conducted by Wm. M. Johnson & Sons Funeral Home Inc., 224 S. Main St., Franklin.
