Missing person in Isle of Wight

CARROLLTON
The Isle of Wight County Sheriff’s Office has issued a missing person report on Elizabeth Pruitt, 29, who has addresses listed for Carrollton and Yorktown.
She was last seen by family members at Bridges Restaurant on the Isle of Wight side of the James River Bridge on or about Nov. 1 and leaving in a North End Taxi. There is some indication that since that date Pruitt may have been seen in both Virginia Beach as well as the Hampton/Newport News area.

She suffers from depression and takes heart medication as well. Pruitt did have medication with her, but as of this date that medication has not been refilled. Pruitt’s history of depression coupled with other mental health issues makes her susceptible to manipulation by others.
The Isle of Wight Sheriff’s Office would like to locate her to determine her mental and physical well-being. The department is asking that if Pruitt sees this release to check in with local law enforcement to ascertain her well-being.
