FRANKLIN—Mary Alice Wade Cotton, 83, widow of Thomas Redelle Cotton, passed away on Dec. 22, 2014.

She was a daughter of the late Albert and Ruth Cobb Wade.

Mrs. Cotton was a member of Sycamore Baptist Church and was a homemaker.

Left to cherish her memory are two daughters, Nell C. Daughtrey (Charlie) and Teressa C. Beier (Karl); one son, Thomas R. “Dell” Cotton Jr.; one sister, Ruth Tollefsbol; five grandchildren, Kristopher Beier, Gigi McKay, Jeremy Daughtrey, Anna Cotton and Wade Cotton; and four great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 27, in Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, with the Rev. Dr. Roger Crump officiating. Burial will follow in Poplar Spring Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Sycamore Baptist Church, Gifts and Memorials, 31120 Sycamore Church Rd., Franklin, VA 23851.
