To the Editor:

Sometime between Wednesday, Dec. 3 and Saturday, Dec. 6 someone took the Baby Jesus from the Nativity in front of True Word Christian Church. While I am the first to tell folks that we need to share Christ with all we meet, there was no need to take our figure from the church. If you are the person that took our baby Jesus and would like to return Him, you can place Him back in the nativity or call Pastor Chuck at 757-636-6948. No questions asked and no repercussions. Whether it is returned or not, we at True Word WILL celebrate Christmas with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
