Ohel David Toler Jr.

FRANKLIN— Ohel David Toler Jr., 71, passed away on Nov. 27, 2014.

He was a son of the late Ohel David Toler Sr. and Blanche Jones Toler. Reared in Aurora, North Carolina, he was an Army veteran.

He was a forklift operator from the Sheet Finishing Department of Union Camp Corporation and retired after 40 years of service. David was a member of True Word Christian Church.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 25 years, Peggy Hill Toler; two daughters, Sherrie D. Toler and her daughter, Alina A., and Kristin T. Lowe and her husband, Michael W., and their son, Liam Thomas; one son, Ricky Toler, and his wife, Ashley M., and their children, Cameron D. and Mackenzie A.; two step-daughters, Joye G. Raikes, and her husband, Steve, and their sons, Tyler and Benjamin, and Janine G. Clifford and her son, Bryan; one sister, Ruth Riggs and her husband, J.L.; and his pet Maltese, Ellie Boo.

He was predeceased by two sisters, Ada Smithwick and Elsie Ireland.

The memorial service will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 6, at Wright Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Baum officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart and Lung Association.
