As we approach the Thanksgiving holiday season, I realize I have much to be thankful for. I have a loving family who continues to understand and support me during my countless hours away from home while working to address the needs of my constituents throughout the 75th District. I have genuine friends who continue to support me financially to help promote my inclusive and assertive agenda for the 75th District, which includes the expansion of economic development initiatives for more job creation, affordable health care, increase funding for education, public safety and transportation. But most of all I am thankful for my parents, Johnnie and Gladys Cain, for instilling in me strong family and Christian values. It is those values which have enabled me to remain true and continuously faithful in serving others as a public servant throughout Virginia, despite party affiliations.
Finally, as your bi-partisan delegate I want to say “Thank You” to all my staff, volunteers, voters and people of faith who constantly pray for me and work for me each day with an unbiased attitude; please know how thankful I am to have you in my life.
In conclusion, this Thanksgiving I wish each of you happiness and a safe holiday. This is a time of sharing and appreciation of family and friends and being thankful for all of God’s abundance of blessings. My prayer this Thanksgiving is that you will have peace in your hearts and that God’s strength and love is with you always.
