BOYKINS–Roy W. Bryant, 63, passed away on Nov. 6, 2014.

A native of Sedley, he was a son of the late Henry Bruce Bryant Sr. and Lizzie Mae Spence Bryant.

Roy was an Air Force veteran, and a retired teacher with the Virginia Department of Corrections.

Survivors include one sister, Ann Bryant Gillette and her husband, Owen; two brothers, H.B. Bryant Jr. and his wife, Anne, and David L. Bryant and his wife, Mary Lou; and nieces and nephews.

The memorial service will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 15, at Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, with the Rev. Jim Foreman officiating. A visitation will follow the service.
