Donald J. O’Clair

FRANKLIN—Donald Joyner “Buck” O’Clair, 68, passed away on Nov. 5, 2014 at his home.

He was a native of Franklin, and was a son of the late Leon Joseph and Ruth Joyner O’Clair, and was predeceased by a daughter, Donna Lynn O’Clair; a brother-in-law, Agrippa Sawyer; and an uncle, Jack O’Clair.

He was the owner and operator of Don’s Lawn Service, and was the former shop manager at Southampton Tractor.

Donald was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church, Davis Ridley Hunt Club, and was a hot-rod enthusiast, especially Camaros.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 43 years, Joan Porter O’Clair; two sisters, Sandra O. Sawyer and Kathy O. Camp, both of Courtland; one niece, Angel Lowe; three nephews, Trent Lowe, Brandon Lowe and Bryan Porter; a sister-in-law, Denise Porter; and two brothers-in-law, L.F. Porter (Mary) and Glenn Porter (Lynn).

The graveside funeral will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 8, at Poplar Spring Cemetery with Father Charles Saglio officiating.
