Burglary suspects arrested

ISLE OF WIGHT
Four suspects have been arrested in the burglary of the Windsor Athletic Association at 10333 Five Forks Road, Windsor, said Lisa Martin, spokeswoman for the Isle of Wight County Sheriff’s Office. The incident is believed to have occurred sometime from 9 p.m. Oct. 14 to 5 p.m. Oct. 15. As a result of a joint investigation with Suffolk Police Department, the following suspects were developed and interviewed. They are as follows:

Blane Sebastian Washington Jr., 24, of the 100 block of Brewer Avenue, Suffolk; Aaron Underhill, 25, and Toby Underhill, 29, both of the 1200 block of East Washington Street, Suffolk; and Stephanie Marie Drames, 32, 8200 block of Gale Avenue, Ivor.

Sgt. Tommy Potter of the IOW Sheriff’s Office, who provided the addresses, said Suffolk Police made the arrests.

As a result of the interviews, a search warrant was issued for the residence of Stephanie

Drames. Items reported stolen from Windsor Athletic Association were recovered during the search, and all four suspects were arrested on the following charges:

Blane Washington: grand larceny, conspiracy to commit larceny and burglary

Aaron Underhill: conspiracy to commit larceny and burglary

Toby Underhill: conspiracy to commit larceny and burglary

Stephanie Drames: grand larceny, conspiracy to commit larceny and burglary

Washington, Aaron Underhill and Drames have also been arrested in connection to the burglary at the Checkers Restaurant on 9516 Windsor Blvd. The incident is believed to have occurred sometime after midnight on Oct. 17. Following the aforementioned search, each person was charged with burglary and the conspiracy to commit larceny.

They are being held without bond at Western Tidewater Regional Jail.

Additional charges are possible.
