To the Editor:

While reading in this morning’s newspaper Elliott Fausz’ complaints about Randy Forbes’ shortcomings, I thought that my experience with Representative Forbes has been that he or one of his staff members has always been attentive to any input I wanted to send him. In fact, he sends out a newsletter weekly requesting his constituents’ opinions on a relevant issue of the week.

As for being obstructionist, I am thankful that somebody in Congress is trying to restrain the Government from sharing more resources with the undeserving and paying for them with my tax dollars and debt borrowed from our Chinese “friends.” In the absence of those who disagree, who knows how many more trillions of dollars of spending and taxing and debt our present administration would have piled up?

I’m grateful for Mr. Forbes, and believe he keeps in touch with his district’s people.
