Open house an opportunity to ask questions

On Thursday, representatives from Dominion Power will be in town to answer questions that landowners and other residents may have regarding the recently announced Atlantic Coast Pipeline project. Beginning at 5 p.m., landowners within the proposed study corridor will be able to meet with company representatives at the informal open house at the Paul D. Camp Community College Regional Workforce Development Center. From 6:30 until 8 the meeting will be open to all those interested in the project.
To date, little opposition to the project has been generated, but the community still has many questions. The primary one being: Will the proposed pipeline be a direct supply of natural gas that developers can utilize to help us expand our local economy?
The Tidewater News will be in attendance seeking answers to that and other questions. We hope that others with similar questions will be as well.
